Akshay Navlakhe Biography
Akshay Navlakhe hails from Mumbai, India. He was first introduced to photography during his college days, he used to photograph college events, it was just a hobby until much to his surprise he happened to win the first prize in an exhibition on Fashion photography that gave him the exposure that his work needed. He advanced quite a lot in college and then got a chance to show his skills in the professional world when he got into Commercial Videography for Raymond, and on the other hand, he started working with agencies which let him gain experience and gave him opportunities to work with other corporate-like Bose and Siemens, Citibank and more. Not even that, he also won an award from Discovery India and Animal Planet India for Terrafficshots Contest. He went ahead and learned how to handle drones to better his profile and became a licensed Drone pilot. As he took a step further, he was lured more and more to follow his passion for cinematography.
After gaining considerable experience in the fashion industry, he moved on to shooting Music videos, his experience as a drone pilot came in handy and he managed to capture some great content for Zee Music, SaReGaMa, and more. Akshay has also worked with many renowned celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Shehnaaz Gill, Sidharth Shukla, Daisy Shah, Alaya F, Jim Sarbh, Avneet Kaur, and Hina Khan to name a few. And has successfully managed to give justice to their expectation. Akshay Navlakhe says that this is just a start and aspires to do much more work and prove his capabilities.
